This is one of the ways the site covers its running costs, which means I can keep writing about what works, what doesn’t, and what’s a complete waste of your time — without charging you anything to read it.
What this doesn’t change
Affiliate links don’t influence what I write. If something is disappointing, slow, boring, or just not worth the effort, I’ll say so — regardless of whether there’s a link attached to it. I’ve been doing side hustles long enough to know that recommending something rubbish helps nobody, least of all you.
I only link to platforms and products I’ve actually used myself, or that I have good reason to believe are legitimate and worth your time. I won’t send you somewhere I wouldn’t go myself.
How to spot an affiliate link
I’ll always flag it. Either at the top of an article or alongside the link itself, you’ll see a note that it’s an affiliate link. No small print, no hoping you don’t notice — just a straightforward heads up.
