This is the Privacy Policy for TopUpMyWallet (https://topupmywallet.co.uk), run by me as a personal blog based in the UK. If you have any questions about it, you can reach me at admin@topupmywallet.co.uk — I’ll always give you a straightforward answer.
By using this website, you’re agreeing to the practices described below. If you’d rather not, that’s completely fine — just don’t use the site.
What information I collect and why
I collect information in a few specific situations:
When you leave a comment — WordPress collects your name, email address, and any website you choose to add. Your email address is never published publicly. Your name and comment will appear on the site if approved.
If you sign up to hear from me by email — I may at some point offer a mailing list. If I do, I’ll collect your email address for that purpose only, and you’ll always be able to unsubscribe easily.
Automatically, when you visit — like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar tools (including Google Analytics via Site Kit) to understand how people find and use the site. This data is anonymous and used only to help me understand what’s useful to readers. You can manage your cookie preferences using the cookie tool on this site.
I don’t sell your data. I don’t share it with third parties except where necessary to run the site (for example, WordPress, Google Analytics, or an email platform if I add one — all of which have their own privacy policies).
How long I keep your information
Comment data is kept as long as the comment is live on the site. If you ask me to delete it, I will. Email addresses on any future mailing list will be held until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove you.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Ask me to correct it if it’s wrong
- Ask me to delete it
- Object to how I’m using it
- Withdraw any consent you’ve given
To exercise any of these rights, just email admin@topupmywallet.co.uk and I’ll sort it out promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data.
Cookies
For full details on the cookies this site uses and how to manage them, please see the Cookie Policy managed via the cookie banner on this site.
Security
I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. That said, no website can guarantee absolute security, and any information you submit is done so at your own risk.
Changes to this policy
If I make any significant changes to this policy, I’ll update the date at the top of this page. It’s worth checking back occasionally, though I’ll try not to make it complicated.
Questions?
